Ropsley C of E Primary School
Learning for Life
Welcome to Ropsley C of E Primary School’s website. Whether you are a prospective parent, student, member of staff, parent or governor we hope you find the information you are looking for here. We pride ourselves on being a warm and friendly village school that welcomes visitors and actively encourages a partnership with parents.
We would be happy to show you around and share some of the exciting learning that is happening here!
Ropsley Church of England Primary School was built in 1874, the school frontage includes a lovely bell tower. The school is set in extremely attractive grounds, with a school field providing space for play and sporting activities. There is an adventure playground (provided by our active PTA) and a large environmental area where children have the opportunity to enjoy and study nature and to reflect on life in peaceful and quiet surroundings.
The school building has four classrooms, a hall, library area, staff accommodation and an ICT suite containing computers which have access to the Internet. All classrooms have additional computer provision and most teaching areas have an interactive whiteboard.
There are close links between St Peter’s Church in the village and the school. Weekly visits are made by the Church Vicar to lead School Worship. Children visit the Church several times a year to take part in their own Harvest Festival, Christingle and Easter Services.
