This term, our topic is 'Under the sea'. The children will first explore the British Isles and its seas and will then be learning about the continents and the oceans of the world. They will then discover how waves occur, different ocean creatures and an in depth look into the Galapagos Islands and Charles Darwin.
In Science, the children will explore forces. They will also be learning about the habitats of different animals and looking into their evolution and survival.
For DT, the children will be designing and sewing puppets based on common sea creatures and in Art, they will be looking at the works of JMW Turner before painting their own seascape.
The children will be investigating music of the sea.
In RE, we are looking at Judaism.
The children will be swimming on Tuesdays and will have PE on Thursdays.
